Has your vacuum pump just died and you need a new one. There are several vacuum pumps that you can choose from. Sample of the common rotary vacuum pump are the Recirculated Oil Type Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps. This type of pump is used for general industrial use where oil can be tolerated and the other type is the Dry Running Non-Lubricated Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump which is for industries where oil cannot be tolerated and requires a higher level of maintenance than the lubricated type.

There are a variety of levels in which a vacuum is used for various tasks. These comprise holding objects onto a surface, forcing materials into molds, removing unwanted gases from materials, moving bulk materials through pipes, drying materials, and removing air from packaging and processes where the presence of oxygen is detrimental.

Choosing a vacuum pump is a little more drawn in than selecting an air compressor. With air compressors we know what we’re running with: atmospheric air. With vacuum pumps we’re often working with air that has something else mixed in with it, and we have to be worried about any effects this other material will have on the vacuum pump and the surrounding area to which the air is exhausted
